Hi. I’m
, Executive Director of the Tucson Festival of Books. On behalf of the team, including so many incredible volunteers who make this special event happen every March, welcome to our new newsletter format. We’re so glad you want to stay in touch all year long.About the Tucson Festival of Books
Tucson Festival of Books is a 501(c)3 organization, founded in 2009 to offer an annual community-wide celebration of literature. Every March, TFOB is held on the University of Arizona campus in Tucson, Arizona. We’re one of the most widely attended literary events in the country for authors and book lovers alike.
Other than the contributions of myself and Karla Chavez, our festival coordinator, TFOB is run entirely by volunteers. We adore them so much! Their hard work means we donate festival proceeds every year to support local literacy organizations.
The Tucson Festival of Books 2025 will be held March 15-16. Visit our main website for more information to plan your visit, including the 300+ authors attending, how to volunteer, or how to support our cause.
Why subscribe?
Never miss our weekly updates about Tucson Festival of Books authors, meet the people behind one of the largest book festivals in the country, learn about some new books we’re excited about, and receive insider tips on how to make the most of the festival weekend (did I mention this year it will be held March 15-16, 2025?).
With this new format, you can engage in the comments with other book lovers in Tucson and beyond.
The festival is just one weekend of the year, but books are forever. Tucson Festival of Books Weekly is your regular reminder: you’re an important part of a community that values literature all year long.
