Presenting Author Nominations, open May 15-September 1
Our Book and Author committee does not sleep on extending personal invitations to authors of traditionally published books to join us in beautiful Tucson next March. But no need to wait for us to contact you or your publicist—if you’re launching a book in 2025 or early 2026, you or your publicist can use the form to let us know you’d like to come!Independent Author Application, open July 9-September 30
Our Indie Author Pavilion offers selected participants a 3-hour window to sign and sell books and network with fellow book lovers. Adult, YA/Teen and Children’s authors with books published in the 24 months prior to March 2026 welcome to apply.
Exhibitor Application, opens September 2
We expect to fill by November 15 or sooner. Mark your calendar so you don’t miss the chance to participate as a bookseller, vendor of book-related merchandise, or community/educational organization promoting literacy. - author of “Women’s Hotel” and the upcoming Christmas sequel “Christmas at the Women’s Hotel” (October 2025), has attended four book festivals so far this year. He has notes. His newsletter offers twice-weekly posts about humor and literature, all in good fun.
April 27-May 3 proclaimed as Pima-Tucson Read Aloud week, recognizing TFOB as part of a local network of literacy champions. We were proud to turn up to support Children’s Book Day events on April 30. TFOB sponsor Vantage West Credit Union supported the Metropolitan Education Commission and Make Way for Books in distributing 400 books to 22 classrooms to celebrate!

Both Isabel Allende and Christopher Moor have books out this year. Plus a local music favorite Neko Case’s memoir came out late 2024 so maybe we have her next year?
